Dashen Bank extended its working hours for the MoneyGram and Western Union Money Transfer Services due to the advent of the Ethiopian Easter. The Working hour is temprorarily extended as follows effe 

 Dashen bank opened its 56th branch, Dashen City Council Area Bank, at Addis Ababa around Atkilt Tera. The area bank has commenced its operation on February 27, 2010. 

 Dashen bank is awarded for the 7th time as the "Best Bank of the Year 2009" from Ethiopia by the Banker of London. 

 Dashen bank opened its 55th branch, Dashen Wuha Limat Area Bank, at Addis Ababa around Wuha Limat, COMET Building. The area bank has commenced its operation on November 16, 2009. 

 Dashen Bank has generated USD 42.3 Million through aquiring international cards for the fiscal year of 2008/09 and the total number of Dashen Visa card holders reached at 54,624 as of June 30, 2009 

 Dashen Bank netted Birr 239.1 million in the 2007/08 fiscal Year.
